Rather than write about every little thing I did at Oshkosh, I feel like a photo gallery is more interesting. Continue reading

Oshkosh 2018: Trip Report
This past summer I went to EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin with my uncle. For a burgeoning aviation enthusiast it was the time of my life and I would love to share it. I will be beginning a trip report which numerous installments including an overview, photo gallery, and story of the coolest general aviation airport ever (no, it’s not Wittman Regional).
Updated: Plane Crash in the Deschutes
Having spent more than three hours near the crash site and talking to people, I have a decent idea of what happened with the plane crash.
The crash happened at about 10:30 am on Saturday June 22, 2019, though my story started slightly after. I left our house in Sunriver to hear sirens and see police and rescue cars speed by on the road into Sunriver. - Spotting at Clutter’s Park
During the last post of this trip report, I detailed my spotting experience at Clutter’s Park overlooking LAX. I said I’d post some of the pictures I got from there, so here they are:
Spotting at Clutter’s Park
For almost any plane spotter, Clutter’s park is a must-see at least one time in their spotting career. It offers virtually unobstructed views of LAX and gives an opportunity to see some of the coolest passenger planes and airlines in the world.
A Morning/Day in LA
Just before 5 am, I called the Lyft that would be taking me to Venice. It picked me up about ten minutes later, and we made the 15 minute drive to Venice. I had ordered a Lyft Line to save money, however there ended up being no one else on my ride so it worked out pretty well.
